Ryan is an Upper Limb Specialist and ABC-certified prosthetist for Hanger Clinic.
Ryan is based out of Metro Detroit and provides upper limb prosthetic support for the state of Michigan. He is a Fellow of the American Academy of Orthotists and Prosthetists and a member of the Upper Limb Prosthetics Society. He is a recipient of the Larry Lange Travel Fellowship Award and is currently authoring a chapter update (“Targeted Muscle Reinnervation: Prosthetic Management”) in the Atlas of Amputations and Limb Deficiencies. Ryan has been a guest lecturer at the Eastern Michigan University Orthotics & Prosthetics Program as well as the Michigan Orthotic and Prosthetic Association Continuing Education Seminar.
As a clinician with more than 10 years of experience in the field, Ryan specializes in pediatrics and adult upper limb prosthetics for patients with congenital limb difference or acquired limb loss. He is certified and experienced in fitting advanced technologies like the Taska hand, bebionic hand, Hero Arm, and Michelangelo hand, as well as partial hand and finger prostheses. He is passionate about empowering patients to accomplish their goals and delivering customer-centric solutions.
