Ryan is an ABC-certified prosthetist and Upper Limb Prosthetic Specialist for Hanger Clinic.
Ryan is based out of Metro Detroit and provides upper limb prosthetic support for the state of Michigan. With over 11 years of expertise in the field, he specializes in pediatric and adult upper limb prostheses for patients with congenital limb differences or acquired limb loss. His extensive experience includes fitting passive, body-powered, and myoelectric prostheses.
Certified in advanced technologies, Ryan excels in fitting advanced prosthetic solutions such as the Taska hand, bebionic hand, Hero Arm, Michelangelo hand, as well as partial hand and finger prostheses. Driven by a passion for empowering patients, Ryan is dedicated to delivering personalized, goal-oriented, and customer-centric care that helps patients achieve their goals and improve their quality of life.
Ryan is a Fellow of the American Academy of Orthotists and Prosthetists and a member of the Upper Limb Prosthetics Society. He is a recipient of the Larry Lange Travel Fellowship Award and is currently authoring a chapter update (“Targeted Muscle Reinnervation: Prosthetic Management”) in the Atlas of Amputations and Limb Deficiencies. Ryan has been a guest lecturer at the Eastern Michigan University Orthotics and Prosthetics Program as well as the Michigan Orthotic and Prosthetic Association Continuing Education Seminar.
