Sam is an ABC-certified prosthetist/orthotist for Hanger Clinic in Forth Worth and Arlington, Texas.
Sam specializes in providing upper limb prosthetic care. He first became interested in the prosthetic field at the age of four after meeting and speaking with a man with a prosthetic leg at a sandwich shop. He owes his passion for the prosthetic field to that kind stranger and hopes to inspire and help others with prostheses and orthoses in the same way that man did for him years ago.
Sam enjoys the problem-solving aspect of orthotic and prosthetic care, specifically facilitating a patient’s functional goals with their prosthesis. He strives to meet the specific needs of each individual, and loves to collaborate with patients to create devices that they are proud to wear and use in their daily lives.
Outside of work, Sam plays tuba in a Dallas community band and is a member of the Longhorn Alumni Band. Sam enjoys hiking, watching movies, and listening to and playing music.
