Siya is a Research Assistant within Clinical and Scientific Affairs. With a background in psychology from the University of Texas at Austin, Siya has extensive experience supporting clinical and academic research with unique patient populations. Her past research efforts include investigating restless leg syndrome in Alzheimer’s patients, analyzing the experiences of minority undergraduate students through focus groups, and examining the link between adolescents’ school environments and mental well-being in a nationwide study.
In her current role, she helps coordinate clinical research studies, collect and analyze patient reported outcomes and clinical data, and prepare presentations and manuscripts. She is passionate about hearing patients’ stories and driving the O&P field forward through research.
