Steffi Self is an ABC-certified and BOC-certified Pedorthist, Certified Orthotic Fitter, and Certified Durable Medical Equipment Specialist for Hanger Clinic in Rancho Mirage, California.

Since 2017, Steffi has proudly served as the Certified Pedorthist at Hanger Clinic’s Rancho Mirage office, helping patients improve their mobility, comfort, and independence. She is committed to providing every patient with compassionate, individualized care. Steffi takes the time to understand each person’s unique needs, ensuring they feel heard, valued, and supported throughout their care journey.

Born and raised in the Coachella Valley, Steffi is honored to serve the community she calls home. Her passion for helping others began in high school when she first volunteered with Flying Doctors in 2002. Through Hanger Clinic’s partnership with Flying Doctors, she continues that commitment today by helping provide complimentary footwear to individuals in need throughout the Coachella Valley.

Steffi believes the best outcomes come from combining clinical expertise with genuine compassion, ensuring every patient feels supported every step of the way.

Outside of work, Steffi loves to learn and signs up for classes that teach her new skills, such as, fencing, ice skating, 3D printing, and shoe making.
