Taylor Beard is an ABC-Certified Orthotist and Board Eligible Prosthetist for Hanger Clinic in Wilmington, North Carolina.

As a clinician, Taylor specializes in full range of orthotic care for all ages, but she particularly enjoys pediatric care, plagiocephaly/brachycephaly, and scoliosis management.

Taylor completed her Master of Science in Prosthetics and Orthotics at Kennesaw State University in 2024 and her Bachelor of Science in Engineering Biophysics from Lenoir-Rhyne University in 2022, where she played softball for her school. She completed both Orthotics and Prosthetics Residency in Wilmington, NC. She obtained her Orthotics certification in 2026 and is actively pursuing her Prosthetics certification.

Outside of work, Taylor likes to spend time with her dog, Olive. They enjoy hiking, joining local running clubs for runs, and going to farmers markets.
