In addition to serving as Area Clinic Manager, Ryan is the National ExoSym® Program Director, a National Upper Extremity Prosthetic Specialist, and a Lower Extremity Prosthetic Specialist.

Ryan leads the ExoSym™ Care Program in Gig Harbor, Washington, where he also provides prosthetic care.

He designed the Intrepid Dynamic Exoskeletal Orthosis (IDEO*) while working at the Center for the Intrepid, part of Brooke Army Medical Center, in 2009. The ExoSym device is an evolution of the IDEO designed for wider use.
