Cara is an ABC-Certified prosthetist/orthotist for Hanger Clinic in Colorado Springs, CO. She has been working in orthotics and prosthetic since 2009 working with all ranges of ages for their prosthetic and orthotic needs. She grew up watching her brother, who had to have orthopedic surgery and wear corrective orthoses. Growing up she also had a family friend who exposed her to the field, fabrication custom orthoses and working with children with disabilities which drew her further developing her passion for pediatrics. She has extensive experience working with pediatric orthoses, lower limb prosthetics, spinal orthoses and sports related orthotic needs; as well as has dabbled in upper limb prosthetics. She loves working with her patients to get the best outcomes she can.
She moved back to Colorado in 2017 to be closer to family and to enjoy the outdoor lifestyle she loves. Outside of work she enjoys hiking, camping, skiing, and scuba diving.
