Tess is an ABC-certified prosthetist/orthotist for Hanger Clinic in Chicago, Illinois. 

As a clinician, Tess sees patients of all ages, including pediatrics. She specializes in lower limb prosthetics, cranial remodeling helmets, post-stroke and movement disorder orthotic care, and acute prosthetic and orthotic management. She currently practices at the Hanger Clinic located at Rush University Medical Center in Chicago and participates in multidisciplinary prosthetic and orthotic clinics at Cook County’s John H. Stroger Jr. Hospital.

In addition to clinical care, Tess is actively involved in professional education. She organizes monthly education sessions for clinicians across Hanger’s Midwest region and contributes to the training of Rush staff in orthotics and prosthetics. She is regularly involved in teaching Northwestern University Orthotics and Prosthetics students, Rush Hospital residents, medical students, and Hanger residents.

Outside of work, Tess stays active through running. A former D1 collegiate athlete, she is in the Hall of Fame at the University of Illinois at Chicago for endeavors in track and cross country. She now helps coach the Chicago Rabbits running club for middle school and high school. In her free time, she also enjoys gardening, ceramics, painting, playing piano, and spending time with her husband, Roger, and her family.
